Grateful

1.15.14
Grateful for pancakes.  They are always a winner.

Grateful that PeeWee is okay.  He was attacked by a corgi on the 1st of January and this is the first day they could play together.  It was great!

1.17.14
Grateful when Enzo eats his carrots.  (Even if he did dip them in ketchup.  Ewwwwww.)

Grateful for little girl's birthday parties.

1.12.14
Grateful for a morning to myself to make a pot of split pea soup.

1.13.14
Grateful for the smell of a freshly trimmed and safer forest.

1.14.14
Grateful that my grandpa is okay, even though he's still in a hospital.  (Not a new picture obviously, but one of my favorites.)  Also grateful for the family members that are able to be by his side.

Grateful

1.9.14
Grateful for a perfectly healthy 2 year old who behaved amazing well at his appointment.  Only one shot (the flu), cried for 2 seconds then we witnessed the analgesic powers of stickers.

(I'm going to try to get a new phone tomorrow - all my pictures are blurry and it's driving me nuts!)

A New Start

I am really looking forward to 2014, mainly because it is not 2013.  I'm feeling unusually positive today and am inspired to start a new project on this blog.  It's kinda cheesy but I was really moved by this video I watched this morning about being grateful and making a record of it.  I would like to take a picture every day (or more realistically most days) and write a brief caption about what I'm grateful for.  I'm hoping this project will take me out of my negativity I've been holding on to after my year went downhill last April.

I just really want to get started!

12.30.13
I'm grateful for goofy grandpas.

12.31.13
I'm grateful for Enzo's sense of humor.

1.1.13

1.2.13
Grateful for bike rides and fresh air in January.
